Our Story
Robyne’s Nest began with a simple but powerful belief: no young person should have to navigate high school—and life—alone.
Founded in 2015, Robyne’s Nest was born after recognizing that students in our local communities were quietly facing homelessness, housing instability, family disruption, and neglect while still showing up to school every day. Despite overwhelming challenges and little to no consistent adult support, these young people remained determined to graduate and build brighter futures.
What began with a desire to help a few students has grown into a community committed to ensuring young people are not left to navigate life’s challenges alone.
Today, Robyne’s Nest serves students and young adults throughout the coastal communities of Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Westminster, Newport Beach, and Costa Mesa. Working closely with schools and community partners, we provide individualized case management, practical assistance, mentoring, social-emotional and wellness support, life skills development, scholarships, housing assistance, and personalized guidance to help young people stay in school, graduate, and prepare for what comes next.
Most of the young people we serve are navigating these challenges with little to no consistent adult support or dependable relationships. More than anything, they need people who believe in them. Through trusted relationships and a community of mentors, staff, supporters, and partners, we help young people build confidence, find encouragement, and discover what’s possible.
Over the years, Robyne’s Nest has grown from a grassroots effort into a trusted resource and community of support for young people across coastal Orange County, united by a shared belief: every young person has incredible potential, and with the right support, that potential can flourish.
Because graduation isn’t the end of the journey—it’s the beginning of what’s possible.
Vision
A community where every young person—regardless of circumstance—has the stability, support, and opportunity to complete their education and transition into thriving, self-sufficient adulthood.
Why This Matters
Young people are best positioned to succeed when they have not only a safe place to live, but also adults who are invested in their growth and future.
We believe education, stability, and trusted relationships are essential to long-term independence.
Who We Serve & Work With
Robyne’s Nest supports high school students and young adults in the years that follow graduation who are experiencing homelessness or severe housing instability.
We work in partnership with local school districts, school administrators, and community providers across Huntington Beach and neighboring communities to identify students at critical moments and provide consistent support, accountability, and continuity of care through their transition to independence.
