On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am honored to share important news regarding the leadership of Robyne’s Nest. It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome Natalie Moser as our incoming Executive Director. Natalie brings great experience and a deep commitment to advancing our mission. The Board is confident that her leadership will build upon past successes while guiding us into a future of continued growth and innovation.

Budgeting is more than numbers—it’s a step toward self-sufficiency and breaking cycles that impact financial health. We’re so grateful for community partners like Amy who pour into our students with knowledge that lasts a lifetime.

Our teens wrapped up the summer with an unforgettable two-night adventure—paddle boating and kayaking, jumping off the dock into the bay, and of course roasting s’mores by the campfire. 🔥✨

We’re excited to share our collaboration with Project Shield! 💙 A huge thank you to founder & CEO Sandy Pendleton-Dorton for presenting an important lesson on preventing trafficking and social media safety to our Robyne’s Nest students.

Our youth recently participated in a Life Skills class on mindfulness and respect for others, thanks to our amazing partners at UCI CYFER (Centering Youth & Families for Empowerment and Resilience) Lab.

A HUGE thank you to the Kupferstein Family Foundation for their generous donation that allowed Robyne’s Nest to purchase a vehicle dedicated to transporting our students!

We’re thrilled to share that Robyne’s Nest has been selected for a Starbucks Foundation Neighborhood Grant, thanks to the heartfelt nomination from Kathleen McCollum, store manager of our local Starbucks at Springdale & Warner in Huntington Beach.

We are beyond excited to share that Brandon Pertzborn — drummer for the legendary Huntington Beach band The Offspring — has chosen to give back to his HB community in a BIG way! 💙

In July, Nuvision Credit Union hosted an incredible month-long Back-to-School Drive, collecting everything from brand-new socks and shoes to cozy hoodies. Thanks to their generosity—and yours—local high school students will start the year not only prepared, but feeling confident, cared for, and supported.
