We value every person who dedicates their time, skills, and expertise to support our mission. Opportunities are available in a variety of administration, event participation, and fundraising efforts!
Our continuous volunteering needs include:
Administrative Projects - Computer skills are desperately needed. Experience with Google Drive, Google Ads (marketing), and Content Video (social media posts). The need is ongoing for different things but each project may require 2-3 hours per week, depending on individual work speed.
Donation Coordinator -Lead a volunteer team responsible for canvasing your community and speak with businesses, employers, clubs, and your favorite places to spread the word about the Robyne's Nest mission and ask if they'd like to get involved by providing a raffle item, a silent auction item, a or to support Robyne's Nest with advertising or marketing within their facilities in either a flyer or ad style. Need: weekly as your time allows to be out
Donation Team Member- Dedicated volunteers to help us find and acquire goods and services for upcoming events. This would mean you play a role in canvasing your community and speaking with businesses, employers, clubs, and your favorite places to spread the word about the Robyne's Nest mission and ask if they'd like to get involved by providing a raffle item, a silent auction item, a discount to their store, or to support Robyne's Nest with advertising or marketing within their facilities in either a flyer or ad style. Business Sponsorship Coordinator - Lead a volunteer team of trained ambassadors to develop a plan to increase business sponsorships to support Robyne's Nest events and fundraising activities. You will work closely with our ED in this important role. Need: 2-3 hours per week.
Clothing Pop-up Shop Sales Support — Shifts are Tuesday 11 am-2 pm, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4 to 7 pm, and Saturday from 10 am - 12:30 pm or 12:30 pm to 3 pm.
Donation Sorters/Organizers - Need donation sorters for student and social enterprise goods with a good eye for what's appropriate for teens, in great condition and trendy. Need: 1x/week
Donation Pickup Driver - I need someone to help me pick up larger donations like twin mattresses, bicycles, small-medium pieces of furniture, etc. Sometimes even smaller things like household goods or clothes from the elderly or folks without vehicles. It's not often but enough that it is getting harder for me to do! Need: 1x/week
Event Coordinator - The Event Coordinator is responsible to lead a volunteer event team to plan and organize events sponsored by Robyne’s Nest or community partners. In this impactful role, you. will work with Robyne's Nest staff and community partners raise awareness for our mission and support fundraising. Need: 2-3 hours per week.
Event Team Member - You will be participating on a team to help us plan and organize events hosted by Robyne's Nest or community partners. Participating on this team is a great way to learn and promote our mission to help our students, learn more. about our community, and work with other volunteers. Need: Flexible/As Needed
Supply Drive Hosts - Looking for groups that would host a supply drive Need: 1-2x/year.
Extra Hands – Robyne’s Nest has many opportunities that require extra hands. If you would like to volunteer on an as-needed basis, this is the perfect spot for you
