Community Education and Support - High School Wellness

The local high school students we serve have little to no parental support, have been abandoned, kicked out, or are being neglected by their parents or guardians. Yet, despite their difficult circumstances, these teens want to be in school.

For these students, having a place on campus to go to take a break, practice self-care, and have access to basic needs is beneficial for their mental wellness, and over all wellbeing. Recently, Robyne’s Nest helped to setup the Back Bay High School Wellness Center, and we will also be supporting the new FVHS Wellness Center with wellness classes for their students.

In addition to these wellness spaces, Robyne’s Nest recently delivered “sunshine bags” to Valley Vista High School in Fountain Valley. These bags contain tools designed to promote stress management and mental wellbeing of the students. Thank you do Debbie Killey and the Fountain Valley Kiwanis Club for contributing to these bags!
