Fireside Chat - Good Shepards Foundation Dog Services

Our Fireside Chat program introduces students to careers with live professionals in the field, and provides the opportunity for students interact and ask questions for a deeper understanding of the career, as well as to contact these professionals for more information. Last week we welcomed Isabella Shepard and Lorenzo from The Good Shepards Dog Services. Isabella talked with students about how she began her dog walking business in 2020 at the age of 22 with $500 and a Honda Civic.  She discussed the time, energy and passion that has allowed her to grow her foundation to over 150 clients, 5 employees and 3 vans in operation, with her mission of providing therapy for humans through the comfort and love of dogs. Last month Isabella also provided poochies for our Pet Therapy day at our Robyne’s Nest house. Thank you Isabella and Lorenzo!
