Life Skills - Successful Start to the School Year

In our recent Life Skills Class - Successful Start to the School Year, instructor Breana Vanini discussed strategies to refocus on academics after the summer break. These organization and preparation strategies included time management, study skills, coping skills, mental wellbeing, and awareness and utilization of resources available through their schools and Robyne’s Nest. Students were given a handout to complete during class, and a planner was provided to each student.

Robyne’s Nest helps at-risk and homeless teens in our community who need support and guidance they are not receiving from their parents. We help these students gain the skills and access to resources to move them on their paths to self-sufficiency.
