Student Event - “Bond-Fire” at the Beach
130K in 30 Days …your support helps change lives!
The students we serve in our Robyne’s Nest programs come from very difficult living situations that include abandonment and severe neglect. Most have never enjoyed simple family outings, or other basic life experiences that are so important in developing a sense of wellbeing, and should be a normal part of growing up. Providing these experiences is one of the voids Robyne’s Nest fills in our teens.
Late November our students enjoyed a beautiful sunset, fun in the sand and a bit of the surf (chilly). The evening was spent cooking hot dogs, making saltwater fire-roasted elote corn, and banana s’more boats. Our student Andrew also treated everyone to homemade cinnamon rolls. The night ended with everyone truly enjoying camaraderie and bonding time around the bonfire. Many thanks for the generosity of our community that allows us to support these vulnerable teens.
Please support our efforts to Break Cycles and Change the Lives of our most vulnerable students in the Huntington Beach, Newport Beach and surrounding communities.
