Student Events - Pumpkin Carving and Friendsgiving

Students had great bonding time at our fun fall events.  Pumpkin carving at Lake Park was full of slime and scary creativity in the beautiful outdoors.  Friendsgiving was hosted by the Deaners, our board member and his wife, who provided their home and the turkey, while each student made and brought a side dish; everyone contributed to our Thankful Tree (on display at Robyne’s Nest), and the night ended with karaoke tunes and dessert!

These activities support our mission of teaching students they are capable of breaking their cycles, embracing life, pursuing pathways of their choosing, and becoming self-sufficient adults. We are able to provide these life lessons and life experiences because of the generosity of our community, and are truly grateful to each of you.
