Student Game Night
Hanging out and playing games with friends and family is a normal part of growing up for most teenagers, though not for the students in our Robyne’s Nest programs who come from very adverse living environments. Last week our students, along with our House Manager and volunteer Laney Lovsteen had a blast playing UNO and Jenga, and enjoyed spending the evening together talking and getting to know each other.
An important part of our Robyne’s Nest mission is to provide these types of "normal" activities for our students on a regular basis, giving them opportunities to develop healthy friendships and camaraderie, both of which are so important to help these teens break their cycles, and truly change their lives for the better.
