Robyne's Nest Graduation event last week celebrated all of our student graduates, as well as students outside Robyne's Nest who were selected to receive our scholarships.

Student Event - Bolsa Chica Conservancy Wetlands Service Project

Community Education: Dangers of Fentanyl and Drug Use
Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid, is up to 100x more potent than morphine, and is highly addictive. Homeless and at-risk teens are significantly more likely to use illicit drugs.

Self-Efficacy & Teen Mental Health
Self-efficacy is the belief we have in ourselves and our ability to succeed. Negative self-perception is common in young adults, is strongly correlated with depression, and is greater in homeless teens.

Money Without Management Skills
Assisting homeless students financially is necessary, though providing the resources, guidance and structure for properly managing the money is essential in breaking the cycle of dependency, and putting the student on a path to self-sufficiency.
