Student Event - Enjoying the Outdoors!
Last week many of our students completed a beautiful hike through Peter’s Canyon, then enjoyed an evening of food, live music and dancing at the Irvine Regional Park summer concert.

Robyne’s Nest is truly grateful for our amazing community! Because of your generosity, during April-June, we were able to provide many essential resources to our students in need:
Teens - Marijuana and Vaping
Research shows homeless adolescents use substances earlier and more often than housed teens. Marijuana has been identified as the drug of choice in this population, and, in addition to traditional e-cigarettes with nicotine, many teens are now vaping marijuana.
Life Skills - Unlocking your Potential &Turning Goals into Growth
Our recent Life Skills class, Unlocking Your Potential - Turning Goals into Growth, focused on setting and accomplishing goals.
Our 2023 Graduates and Scholarships!
Robyne's Nest Graduation event last week celebrated all of our student graduates, as well as students outside Robyne's Nest who were selected to receive our scholarships.

Student Event - Bolsa Chica Conservancy Wetlands Service Project
Mid-June our students worked on a volunteer project removing mustard grass from the Bolsa Chica Conservancy Wetlands.

Fireside Chat - Good Shepards Foundation Dog Services
Our Fireside Chat program introduces students to careers with live professionals in the field, and provides the opportunity for students interact and ask questions for a deeper understanding of the career.

Life Skills - Cooking Healthy Meals on a Budget
Learning to cook healthy meals on a budget supports both physical wellbeing and financial management skills…important elements for our students on their paths to self-sufficiency.
Marina High School Wellness Week Presentations
Our Robyne’s Nest mission includes community education to proactively support our youth. In early June we assisted Marina High School during their Wellness Week.

Expressing one’s self through art is yet another avenue to support mental wellbeing. Our students collectively created an amazing Flip Cup paintint!
Life Skills -The Importance of Budgeting
Learning to effectively budget is a crucial skill needed for our students to progress on their paths to self-sufficiency.
Community Education: Dangers of Fentanyl and Drug Use
Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid, is up to 100x more potent than morphine, and is highly addictive. Homeless and at-risk teens are significantly more likely to use illicit drugs.
